Nintendo just announced that, starting in November, they will be releasing this cartoon series only on 3DS. I am one of the few people on earth who LOVED the original 80s cartoon. “well excuuuuse me, princess.” Comical genius.
If I didn’t already own a 3DS I would buy one just to watch these. Heck, I might just buy another one only to prove I’m not lying(not actually). Anyone else out there excited to see Link and Zelda return to animated glory? Will Link finally, after over 20 years, get that kiss? Or will Ganon finally get his hands on “both” triforces? I’ll keep you posted.
Edit: Nevermind. It’s just funny edits of footage from Wind Waker HD. My dreams are shattered. Oh well, maybe another time.
For the precious few on this planet that haven’t been keeping up with my Zelda Symphony Story blog posts over the last
month few years, you can catch up here. Now to carry on.

Going to Vancouver. This is the big day. The Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddess.

Arrived at the Orpheum Theater. a fancy place like this isn’t often so full of nerds, I bet. Out of the thousand or so people that are here today 998 of them have their 3DS with them(that’s an estimated figure). I felt like I was in an old episode of Star Trek.

The concert started. I took a video of one of the “movements.” Lol.
I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to take this video so I had to do it secret-like. I put it up on my Facebook page, might as well hit the Like button while you’re there. Sorry for the bad angles. Darcy, this goes out to you.

The concert ended and I am now a complete person. My only regret is that I was really hoping there would be a ton of folks in costumes for me to post pictures/interviews of, but there was only a couple of half-hearted ones that weren’t nearly entertaining enough.
Well that’s the whole story… this year. Be sure to check back regularly for more sophisticated nerd dad shenanigans.
This is some of the coolest Zelda official artwork I’ve ever seen.
I don’t know what to say. My heart stopped. I’m dead now.
I am so excited for November 22, when this game comes out.
In honor of my death you should Like my Facebook page or I’ll haunt your TV.
The other day I got this package in the mail.
It’s wrought with mystery and intrigue. There was only one way to know for sure what lay inside.
Yup, I opened it.
To the average ignoramus it may look like a poster but in fact this is not, this here is a vinyl window installation kit.
Pretty thing, ain’t it? These vinyl wall decals were recently announced by Nintendo and Blik. There are eight in total. My big problem is that I really liked the art on this one but I much preferred the medieval shape of the others,
so with nothing but my solitary brain genius and steady crafting dad hands (and absolutely no influence or help from my wife) I was able to make some window
Next you just remove the paper backing and slap that thing up singlehandedly(only a wimp would need help from his wife, for example).
But you ain’t done yet. Might as well use those scraps you made, don’t wanna be a waster.
Bam! Look at that. If only there were some way to cover those ugly electrical cords. Hmmmm…
Now there we go. A perfect addition to my sweet little TV room.
By way of review this really is a great product. It was easy to install, the colors are vibrant, and it truly brings husband and wives together (but my wife never helped me… because I’m sooo independent).
In conclusion, like my Facebook page.
