I love the Dead Space games. I have since my first exposure to them. Funny enough it was watching my brother-in-law play a Dead Space themed level in Little Big Planet that first hooked me in.
Its not the horror or the gore that keeps me coming back (I’m not even a fan off horror). Its the story and the world they’ve created that draws me in. It’s so detailed and imaginative. Its the way the protagonist is just a normal dude, and most of his arsenal are just everyday tools.
Anyhow, I decided to gather my Isaacs together for a photo shoot in order to show off this shirt I made.
Here’s the front of the shirt. I made the image using the same method I used to make this Zelda shirt.
Here’s Isaac with his trusty plasma cutter. It’s not just for slicing deli meat anymore.
You can see the resemblance of this helmet on the shirt.
And now for the back. If you’re not familiar with the game the glowing blue line going up his back is used to show how much health you have.
I made this one at full health but using the same stencil I could make it at any level I desire. The semicircle on the right shoulder is your stasis meter.
Alright Isaac, that’s enough laying down on the job. Its time to get back to dismembering things.
Join us next week when we’ll construct an eighty foot marker using nothing but the brain waves of exposed psychiatric patients (just kidding).
Or am I?
